Day 1: Kathmandu - 1300m altitude

Arrival at Tribhuvan International Airport at Kathmandu and meet, assist and transfer to the hotel with our representative. Welcome drinks on arrival and briefing of tour program by one of the representative from Aarya Village Travel.

Day 2: Kathmandu – Pokhara - 900m altitude (B)

After Breakfast drive to Pokhara. It is around 6 hours drive from Kathmandu. Pokhara is a remarkable place of natural beauty, situated at an altitude of 900m from the sea level and 200km west of Kathmandu valley. The enchanting town has several beautiful lakes and offers stunning panoramic views of Himalayan peaks. The serenity of lakes and the magnificence of the Himalayas rising behind them create an ambience of peace and magic. Check in hotel. Evening enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake waters.

Day 3: Pokhara Sightseeing (B)

Early in the morning excursion to Sarangkot hill for closer Mountain View. It is 20 minutes drive and 20 minutes hike from you hotel. Sarangkot is the most popular viewpoint in Pokhara. Situated at an altitude of 1,592m, Sarangkot offers the magnificent view of Sunrise over Mt. Machhapuchhre, Dhaulagiri and Annapurna Massif (weather permitting). After enjoying the beauty of nature, return to hotel for breakfast. After Breakfast start half day sightseeing at Pokhara’s traditional old bazaar is colorful and is ethnically diverse. Newar architecture and craftsmanship is expressed in its temple and windows. The past richness is expressed in its art and craftsmanship, Bindhyabasini Temple is the center of religious activities in the old bazaar. It is dedicated to Goddess, Bhagawati, and another manifestation of Shati. People sacrifice animals believing that the god will fulfill their desires and wishes, Gupteshower Cave- popular for the different natural forms made from limestone deposits and Devi’s Fall -It is the most famous water fall in Pokhara, which comes to its gushing best just before disappearing underground. Evening enjoy walking along the bank of Phewa Lake, admiring the stunning reflection of the Fish Tail Peak in the blue Phewa Lake waters. Later you will have one hour boating in Phewa Lake.

Day 4: Free Day in Pokhara (B)

After Breakfast you will have free day in Pokhara. You can scroll around the lakeside on your own. Or you can go for sightseeing at World Peace Pagoda- a Buddhist stupa designed to provide a focus for people of all races and creeds within the world and to help unite them in their search for world peace. You can have the magnificent views of the Mt. Annapuran and the Pokhara city from the hill of Peace Pagoda. This will be on extra supplementary charge. During sightseeing at World Peace Pagoda you will enjoy both boating and hiking at the same time.

Day 5: Pokhara – Chitwan (B, L, D)

After breakfast drive to Chitwan. It is 150 km and 4 and ½ hour drive from Pokhara. All the way you will follow by the Trisuli River. After checking in to the hotel and getting refreshed you will be briefed about full nature programs by our naturalist guide. After Lunch we head on for activities. Elephant-back safari: Guests will ride on elephant to explore the jungle and wildlife the one-horned rhinoceros, several types of deer, monkeys, wild boar, bison, sloth bear, leopard and, if lucky, the Royal Bengal tiger. This exciting ride lasts for 2-3 hours, walk on the banks of the Rapti River to watch the charming sunset views in the sub-tropical jungle. Enjoy cultural program by ethnic tribal people with their stick dance and tribal drums in the evening.

Day 6: Chitwan (B, L, D)

Wake-up calls followed by tea or coffee and proceed for Bird watching. Our guides will help you to identify some of the species of these birds. After Breakfast visit Elephant Breeding Centre and Elephant Bathing Programme: Learn more about these fascinating animals during a visit to our elephant stables. After Lunch we will go for Jeep Safari & Canoeing (subject to weather conditions): Drive by Jeep to Kasara, the head quarter of The Chitwan National Park to see the Gharial (Alligator) hatchery project, founded by Frankfurt Zoological Society. After a short briefing about the project & visit, drive to the oxbow lakes (Lami Tal & Tamar Tal) by Jeep through dense sal forest to encounter various plants and other wildlife. After the drive come down to the Rapti River at canoeing put in point. Start canoeing in a traditional dug-out canoe which takes you on a silent trip down the Rapti River to view aquatic birds, crocodiles and the animals of the river banks. Evening Slide presentation: One of our jungle experts will introduce background data and history of the Chitwan National Park as well as some other topics relating to wildlife. Your questions are most welcome.

Day 7: Chitwan – Kathmandu Sightseeing (B)

Wake up call with hot Coffee/tea. After breakfast drive back to Kathmandu and start full day sightseeing in UNESCO heritage sites. Sightseeing at Bouddhanath Stupa- is a very important religious site for the followers of Buddhism. It is located northeast from the Kathmandu city center. The Stupa is regarded as the centre of faith for the Buddhists. This is also the largest Stupa of Nepal. The Stupa rich in Buddhist arts and cultural heritage is also a popular pilgrimage site, Pashupatinath Temple is a famous, sacred Hindu temple dedicated to Pashupatinath is located on the banks of the Bagmati River. This temple is considered one of the sacred temples of Hindu faith. This "extensive Hindu temple precinct" is a "sprawling collection of temples, ashrams, images and inscriptions raised over the centuries and Patan Durbar Square- Enlisted in the UNESCO World Heritage Sites is a distinct place for arts and architecture that reflect on each temple, monument and palace building that were mostly built during the Malla period between 16th, 17th and 18th century. The square offers myriad opportunities for visitor willing to study and research artistic and architectural masterpieces, history and culture of Patan. Rest of the time is free on your own.

Day 8: Departure (B)

Approximately 3 hours before your scheduled flight a representative from Aarya Village Travel will transfer you to the airport for final departure to your home country.
