What to Expect

Your first stop is at Ngoc Son Temple. Lying on an island at north end of Hoan Kiem Lake, this bridge, which is connected to the mainland by The Huc (Rising Sun) bridge, was built in classical Vietnamese style lined with flags. Surrounded by water and shaded by trees which dedicated to General Tran Hung Dao (who defeated the Mongols in 13th century), scholar Van Xuong and La To (patron saint of physicians), Ngoc Son temple is a really famous tour attraction.

Next, you will walk a short distance to the vibrant Hang Be Market – one of the Hanoi’s densest markets, where you can find things available all year round.

After that, you will continue the tour to the Historic House on Ma May Street, a fascinating attraction for culture. Built at the end of the 19th century and restored in 1999, this house preserves the ancient architecture and lifestyle of Hanoians as the way it was.

After visiting the house, you will wander along the lively streets, go through stores and street stands selling their wares. St streets here, you may find some exciting things for yourself and your relatives.

Then, you will make a stop at Hang Quat Street, where you will have an opportunity to see and order the stamp maker. You will continue your walking tour to the largest St. Joseph’s Cathedral which was constructed by the French in 1887 and is located in Nha Chung street where now becomes ‘lemon tea’ street, a popular place for the young in Hanoi.

The tour will end up at a coffee shop overlooking Hoan Kiem Lake where you will have an amazing chance to relax and reflect all that you have seen today.
